How the hell is Paterno looking more guilty than not? A decent prosecutor would tell you that what Paterno did was exactly what he should have done. A decent prosecutor would tell you that he would not want Joe to do more for fear of compromising the case. People just do not get it.

@GlamorousAntho It is looking like Paterno is more guilty than not, but I also agree with your logic that their shock is over them having a friend not be a part of their life. I get that he did/didn't act in certain ways with respect to certain things but what I think people don't get is it isn't like JP and JS acted like disrespectful people on campus while this was going on. so when I think about JP I think about a respected adult and not a "slimy guy" when kids think about him

@Wood97son Did you ever think about their "rape enabler" was a human being who befriendeed them?? if not, watch videos where they talk about why he was such a wonderful human being. and also, I am assuming you are understanding that they saw the "rape enabler" as a good person even while stuff was happening which probably makes them have a hard time hating him as He was a wonderful friend. I know that sounds cheesy but I hope I make some sense.

@wildcats520 I am sure they do (to some extent and for sure now) but I can imagine if I watched a school I am associated with's favorite coach get accused of things it would shock me a bit. I am still not over the shock and have BARELY associated myself with their school sports wise. we played them once in 2002. cant remember that time hardly anymore and the last time was a ways back I believe.

@thelosingirish No that is a few people on a colllege campus not the campus. There are students who are probably offended if they see these comments let alone all the innocent staff who are dealing with students with emotions wrung out and I feel atleast that much pain for students but the more I hear there fight song etc and see clips of student base I feel less able to blow steam on innocent students who didn't ask for this mess. In other words, stop bashing cuz you can.

We knew that kids were being hurt, and we did NOTHING to stop it. Sure, we could have picked up the phone and called 9-1-1, but our football program was more important than protecting innocent children from a monster. WE ARE PED STATE!!!
