I once constructed my own 3-sectioned chucks with really short links and the passes are a lot easier to do with those because of the length. And you also have the advantage of it being a weapon that's not commonly seen
They feel dangerous. Especially the Acrylics, very dense. Yes, control is do-able. The reach is more like the Bruce Lee style chux with the control of the ProChux. Each section has a different functionality for techniques.
There are several combat advantages: 1) reach, 2) snare long weapons, 3) can sacrifice one or two end sections against a bladed weapon - thus turning it into san-setsu or so-setsu kun nunchaku. Or cut in the middle and have two regular nunchaku.
I got to admit..its different...I wonder what the feel is like...you say Bruce lee moves...how about freestyle...whole bunch of spins..do you just end up at the end of the chuk on spins or control is duable?
