Ford engineers Greg Johnson, Gil Portalatin and Eric Kuehn discuss which Fusion power option is best suited to your driving style and use. Check out http://FordFusionStory.com for more information
Excellent vid detailing not only the model range of 2013 Ford Fusion without having to read one of our verbose and wordy reviews but also the type of person each propulsion technology would be best for.
Sam, thanks for helping create the Ford Fusion Story mobile site and pointing out where this vid was located after our discussion at the 2012 NAIAS Press Preview yesterday.
the european and asian volvo s60 T5 has the same engine except with a powershift, which should have less loss of power than the fusion's automatic. there is a little bit of lag off the line, then it pulls hard at about 2-5k rpm and then quickly drops off. no power at high rpms. this powertrain is definitely not competitive with toyota and honda's 3.5 V6s
2 liter ecoboost has good low/mid end power but is disappointing at high rpms. i drove a 2012 volvo s60 2.0EB for a while and with my driving style the fuel economy is worse than my 3.0 milan. the fusion deserves a better engine, put a 2.7EB in it.

"one gallon of electrons" was hilarious :-)

@nr9 don't judge so quickly. check it out first and if it is as bad as you say, send ford a letter about it and i'll sign it with you. lol.
