Megaman 8 Walkthrough part 8 - Aqua Man stage

Underwater stages are always considered difficult in the most of the games, but in this game, it's cool, with a good environment, a good bgm and fun. The stage has 4 bolts, but it's impossible to acquire all of them in the 1st time you play the stage. There are two ways to go, and you have to choose one, there are bolts in both of them (each way has a bolt). After concluding this stage, you can choose the other way to go through and pick up the remaining bolt.
The sub-boss of this stage is easy, just avoid its attacks and attack it with the Astro Crush and Flash Bombs for a quick victory.After defeating it, you gain the "Rush Help" ability. When used, Rush appears on the screen flying and throwing health and weapon power items randomly (it's really useful when you have low health or low weapon power!)
In the second part of the stage, don't waste your Astro Crushes, use it if necessary (as to break the ceiling to reach the 1st bolt). The Astro Crush will be necessary to use against Aqua Man. (It's highly recommended to acquire the Item of the Dr. Light's lab - showed on the beginning of the video of Astro Man stage - that increase the storage capacity of the weapons, which possibilties Megaman to accumulate six Astro Crushes instead of four).
Aqua Man is no match for you if you have the Astro Crush. In other hand, if you don't use or don't have the Astro Crush, Aqua Man will be such a challenge for you (for me it's the hardest boss to kill without a properly weapon). Use the Astro Crush Wisely, after hitting it, wait till it stops flashing and recovering to launch another attack. After defeating it, you get the Water Balloon power, strong against Sword Man.

This is the only Mega Man game other than the PC game Mega Man 3 where he can swim.

The difference is that in PC 3, he floats rather than sinks.
