This is from a full length video that GDP made for the crew after the Summer Tour had ended. This was never commercially released and most folks don't know it even exists. It has video footage taken from the outdoor shows and shows pieces of different songs including extended clips of Drums and Space. In my opinion the Summer 93 tour was not as strong as in the previous year, and certainly not the barn burner that Summer 91 turned out to be. One of my favorite moments was Bobby singing LLR in Buffalo with the acoustic guitar and the shades on, which is on this tape. If you are interested in getting the complete DVD you can send me a message.

  • @BogratShoestring Surely you must be kidding 9/13/93 best ever scarlet>fire? I could list 50 scarlet>fires better than that one but i won"t waste my time because it just has to be a misprint that someone would say a "93 scarlet>fire was the best ever.

  • hahhahahhaa look at those deadheads try to run, theyre all panting

  • @BogratShoestring completely agree, but i also love 90 and 95.. peace

  • Highlights? There were no highlights in '93.And for that matter there were no highlights at all in the '90's. PERIOD

  • @BogratShoestring 91-94 really? thats all good but not heard of that often as a great period. goes to show how personal our relationships with the band are.

  • RIP Buckeye Lake. Best venue ever.

  • @creamofclapton68 first come first serve w/general admission...gott get there early to be up close :)

  • wow phil is one goofy bastard! he is one of the best though!

  • Eugene 93 was my first.

  • The Scarlet>Fire from 9/13/93 is quite possibly the best ever. Honestly i think '93 produced some terrific shows. I was on summer tour '92 and saw most of the west coast '93 shows and i preferred most of the '93 shows i saw.

I love 70's dead the most, but 91-94 is fast becoming another favorite little era for me.
