You're a restaurant owner in crisis, the wolves are at the door, but the customers aren't. You've got temperamental chefs in the kitchen, lazy waiting staff and the diners you do have aren't satisfied. Desperate for restaurant resuscitation? Call in the restaurant trade's equivalent of the Emergency Services - the inimitable, indomitable Gordon Ramsay.

Each week in Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, a struggling restaurant receives the Gordon Ramsay treatment. With only a couple of weeks to turn around its flagging fortunes, nothing is sacred. There's no time for polite small talk as Gordon reveals a few home truths to the exhausted, emotional restaurant owner or manager and embarks upon his mission to turn things around.

  • @MsOhhai Seriously, this show made me not want to go to resturants unless it is the nicest/classiest resturant around. Looks like I am becoming a full time chef for myself and thanks to Ramsay its gonna be possible! =D

  • all these people with these comments about ny... so ignorant as a chef i see this type of stuff from time to time, and i know this type of things happens everywhere around the world. Just these were caught on a popular show, trust me ive worked in a busy joint where there are alot of customers and the chefs their dont really clean the equipment, the food is fresh since it never last more than a few days but the things they cook it on turned me off.

  • Aww, wish they would have shown the part in the Dillon's episode where Ramsey sees a partially cut rotten tomato and then starts panicking and says, "Did somebody send out a tomato?!"
