US TV-giant Jay Leno, an Elvis-fan for many years, talks about Elvis' second movie "Loving You" and how he made an own kind of Elvis-movie on the David Letterman Show. Hilarious. Enjoy!

  • "Somehow it's okay to make fun of the president and all these people, but I couldn't make fun of Elvis..."

  • @TimothySideburns..........watch the Martin Sheen interview about Elvis (especially the ending) , "Elvis went places no one has ever gone before. ...He (Elvis) went so high , so fast , they didn't make any ointment for sunburns He had......there was nothing to compare His level of stardom to".....I am , of course , paraphrasing. Some people can't handle anything bad said about the King. It don't really bother me too much if it said in jest , but sum people are just mean & looking for attention

  • @vingthor13 Yeah, that's right. He also played a race car driver "only" three times. Yet most people think he did it about every second movie.

  • According to IMDB, it says that Jay is a huge Elvis fan. And if this interview proves it..then it shows.

  • great stuff.

  • @TimothySideburns; you may be right about that as all that I recall was him working as a Singer in the Nightclub owned by Max, the local Mafia Don, played by Walter Mathau. I'll have to re-watch it to make sure.

But if he did, that was more than likely the ONLY time in one of his 33 Movies whereas he played the part of a busboy or waiter.

  • @BearStar1 In King Creole he actually plays a busboy. But I know what you mean. How Jay tells it it's still funny, though.

  • Love the interview !
