This female rap duo hailed from Lefrak City Queens, NY and were often compared to a more popular set of ladies by the name of Salt-N-Pepa. If you listen their album in it's entirety, they really had a style of their own. One of the things that amazes me most about this video is how these girls managed to dance in their super tight McM outfits.

  • I remember seeing this video only on Video Music Box back in the spring of 1988 on PBS channel 31(WNYC-TV) during the middle of my junior year at James Monroe High School in The Bronx. Thanks for posting this video by the way.

  • @oldschoolbx1970 You are so right...although I was very young at the time, I don't recall seeing this video anywhere else but Video Music Box. Over time it aired on shows like Rap City...I don't think it ever played on MTV.

  • They were managed by an eager ambitious dancer by the name of Sean Diddy Combs. #Truestory

  • @ElectAPromQueen really, that I did not know. He appeared in their video Straight From the Soul (1990) so it all makes sense. F&S were also on Uptown Records and he interned for that label.

  • @micarae This stuff now iz hot garbage. No skills. Just talking about who d*ck they go suck...Just like Pac said, it's all New York fault for supporting Nas, Biggie, Puffy, Lil Kim and all that phony s*it. How can a person hear Lyte, Salt N Pepa, Latifah, Antoinette, Smiley, Lauryn Hill, Sweet Tee AND THEN BUY LIL KIM, TRINA, FOXXY BROWN, AND NIKKI MINAJ ALBUM. HOW IZ OUR SOCIETY GOING BACKWARDS?
