@unkledanbot Really. Okay. So you really are advocating that if someone is going to be severely hurt and given a stressful life against their will, they have the right to choose to kill people in order to prevent that from happening.

@TheDavoo 'But if she is forced to deliver the baby, what right(s) of her own will be violated?'
Why, the right to be in control of one's self.
'My point is that life is the most important right we have.'
I disagree. Why is life more important than choice? We have the right to life yet we have to control that life.
Slavery is wrong, yes? Is it wrong because of a book or because you think so or because society says so?
Or is it wrong because it violates your right to control yourself?

@unkledanbot Now if an abortion takes place, we are overriding the 'potential right to life' with the mother's right to override. But if she is forced to deliver the baby, what right(s) of her own will be violated? Certainly not her right to life, if there aren't any complications.
My point is that life is the most important right we have.

@TheDavoo Woah hoss. Who's speaking in moral absolutes? I don't believe in such absolute judgment because it is impossible to have absolute knowledge.
This is the basis of ethics.
The fetus has rights but control is given to the mother. Ethically the mother has control until viability separates mother from baby.
Viability is ethically determined and has no absolute definition. A fetus could be viable earlier with sufficiently medical tech. Or could be never because of medical complications.

@unkledanbot [part 2] Oh wait, sorry, I missed that part. What you're saying is that when the baby becomes capable of living on its own, it now has its own individual right to life, correct? If so, what is the logic behind this?

@unkledanbot "You have no problem with expressing things that are misunderstood?"
No, you misread.
Are you trying to make this conversation as convoluted as possible? I give up, okay? I'm immature and childish. Wah wah wah. Now I would like to get back to political discussion.

@unkledanbot Fine, I'll give in; I'll try to be efficient.
So what you're saying is, the mother has the absolute right to choose whether or not the fetus inside her has human rights? At what point does the mother loose this right?
