My current motorbike Triumph Adventurer 900. The Adventurer was made in 1996. The bike is basically a "derivative" of Thunderbird model.
The bike is "uncommon" enjoying the unusual attention not only to devotees of classic lines.
Resembling rather on a cruizer styled bike, recalls motorcycles from the time of the end of the 60s and the mid-70s years. Equipped with generous chrome plating, high handlebars, lower lying solo seat, massive rear fenders and exhaust - like a megaphone, placed on both sides of the motorcycle. New LSL handle bars, original single saddle version, exhausts pipe as a megaphone and fat fender.
On a steel tubular frame is triple cylinder 12-valve DOHC engine with 885 cc volume. Offers power 49.6 kW (68 hp) at 8000 rpm. I consider him to be more than sufficient. On the idle speed the sound engine is really very very specific. ("whistle" and a hoarse sound.)
However, it has a small turning radius, resulting in a slight sloth when maneuvering in urban roads. Driving in the city center and even highways are not any adventure for the Adventurer. Entertainment begins behind a town - on county roads!
Very wild and fast cruizer. Massive Satisfaction:)

Excellent engine, good handling and stability on the road, nice mechanical engine noise, generous chrome, image, a retrospective look exelent combination of colors.. it's full-blooded Triumph... Well..and very important is mainly that it is my bike:)

  • Nice slide show and pics - I like the single seat arrangement and back rack.

    I've got a blue 1997 model - JD º¿º

(Thinking of selling it this year though - limited opportunities to ride!)

  • Hello John, thank you for your comments, I saw your bike on your youtube page, and I can say Wow-what a nice blue color, a lot of accessories, nice bike. Yes, I very very like single seat bikes. I also do not travel much with my bike. Only when it is sunny weather. My bike is more polished than driven : ) Take care!

  • Nice bike. I'm thinking about getting a '96 Adventurer. I've been doing a lot of research and, so far, the Triumph sticks out. Great pics by the way.
