"Drinking was the only thing I knew that took away the feelings of loneliness and feeling different." Steve shares his story of addiction and alcoholism, what it was like and what it is like now in recovery following treatment at Turning Point of Tampa.
god bless....That sounded like me...1.5 years sober now and life just keeps on getting better and better everyday....Most of all you slowly start to appreciating life and those around you more and more....Life is such a wonderful gift..
Alcohol is fine for 9/10 people. But for 1/10 people like me and this man and many others i know, alcohol gives a false sense of confidence that is unmatched by no other drug. If you are shy and withdrawn DONT turn to alcohol. It will seem like a blissful release at first but then go on to destroy ur life.
