Getting clear answers out of drug addicts is only slightly easier than getting a clear answer from a politician. Every Kurt Cobain documentary is like this, a bunch of meth freaks suckering the film maker out of money and free beer then giving half answers and dodging anything you ask them.

Anyone who has heard Courtney read Kurt's suicide note knows that she had nothing to do with his death. You can't fake that kind of sadness in her voice.

everytime i see this clip i want to play connect the dots on his forehead.i do think the story behind his death is way more twisted than first made out to be.my guess either dylan was the one or courtneys ex who was staying at the home at that time, saw kurt failed to report it to anyone but courtney.read love and death..it explains it very well to the point of sounding less like a conspiracy

I just looked up the note & it almost made me cry. He's obviously suicidal in it. & heroin addicts adjust to the amount they inject, esp. if they use heavily like he did. Also, the Remington 1100 shotgun's barrel length varies w/ model. But even at 30", you can reach your hand down way past your hip & pull the trigger.

He had so much heroin in his system he couldn’t even see straight let alone have the coherence to pick up a shotgun and shoot himself. If that’s not enough, his arms weren’t long enough to reach the trigger and both his shoes were on. The note was supposed to be about him leaving Nirvana. find it online read it closely. Only the last couple lines (which, oddly, are in different hand writing) have anything to do with suicide.

He knew the truth. Druggies tell each other everything. You're right in the sense that maybe since they were friends he simply didn't want to tell - which is understandable. This is all entertainment to us but its real life to everyone involved.

i agree with you however in this situation it seems to me he WAS answering the questions the best to his abilities. just because one is a close friend to an individual does not automatically make them privy to all of their inner thoughts, motives or actions. seems to me the interviewer was not getting the answers he was hoping for and was re-asking the same questions multiple times but just rephrasing them. by the 3rd time answering the same question I'd probably stumble a lil too.

God i hate how Nick Broomfield is constantly trying to lead Dylan in his Q&A....Then you get other junkies in this documentary who quickly catch on that if they answer Nick's Q's with the answers HE WANTS i.e "Courtney asked me to murder Kurt, i swear on my dog's eyeball's that it's true" he or she will be handsomely rewarded, more money to buy dope with when the camera crew has fucked off. At least Dylan didn't lie or go down that track.
