Walking by the Ginza Nissan Showroom (in 5-Chome at the 4-Chome intersection), I idly looked in the window and noticed a familiar car: "Hmm... the lime-green Figaro [officially "emerald green"?]. ..... Wait... where did I last see that...? !!!!! I saw that last weekend while watching one of my old videos from 1991!! Whoa!! Time slip dude!"
So naturally, I walked in and asked the models (biped variety) at the counter inside the door about the model (fire-breathing variety) in the window. They confirmed that it was a 1991 model and was on display for historical reasons. I went in for pictures and talked about the car some more with another beautiful biped model inside (standing by the car) who told me that not only is it the same model that I saw in March 9th, 1991 (19 years ago to the very day!), but it was the very same car! (Apparently Nissan has a storage facility to keep examples of its various models.) She also explained that it was a limited production special edition with only 20,000 units built.
So - to jump back 19 years and see the same car, sitting in the same show window in the same corner building in Ginza, see the video at the following link, which was recorded on March 9th, 1991:

1991年と比べて、あまりにも変わりすぎてしまいましたね。人も車も。

@silky70686 そうですね。人の服、髪の毛、考え方、など。でも、この車は、元々レトロなデザインなので、当時にしても、変わり車でした。

@TheFamilarity From what I was told, apparently it was taken to the showroom from the factory, and then from the showroom to a Nissan storage facility, and then back to the showroom. So it's basically a 19-year-old brand-new car! It's on display until the 12th (tomorrow), so if you fly to Tokyo, you can see it in Ginza! - LHS
