A walk along the tracks in downtown Elmhurst while The Union Pacific Railroads replaces wooden ties. We start just West of York Rd and go about a block West and show some of the equipment in operation. This is right at the Elmhurst METRA station.

  • shitty gang... we keep it real on our gang we changed out 300 000 ties this season. #1 in america tw51 cn rail

  • I wouldn't know how to compare any two gangs. If I remember the day I shot this... It was a weekend and two of three tracks were live. They kept moving the freight traffic in and out of Proviso, and also handled a regular commuter schedule.

  • big tie gang nice equipment nice video

  • Thank-You for watching! I just wish I had more time to pick out the details. I sort of rushed through it as the project was across a mile of track and I wanted to "get it all!"
