Bush supports Ukraine's NATO bid

President George W. Bush has pledged U.S. support for Ukraine's bid to join NATO during his first-ever visit to the country. The question of new members is due to be discussed at the NATO summit in Romania's capital Bucharest on Wednesday.

and this study prooved that only 2% of the population would want to break away from Ukraine in any way, while 98% want to live in a free Ukraine

also the East is definetely not richer then the West. I am from the West and i went to the East in 2006 and the people there were very poor compared to the west, ( they never saw 500 hryvnas)

they are only richer by the amount of millionaires and billionaires who stole the money from the people but in the west there is less Billionaires while the average folk lives way better.

І обєднуватись з країною,в якої подекуди гірший рівень життя чим в нас,щоб стати сильнішими-нонсенс.

I want Ukraine and other Slavic nations to UNITE and stay away from NATO and EU garbage. If we don't stay together, we will get destroyed. The only reason they want us to join is because they want to points more missles on our brothers. Розумієте,мені подобається ідея приєднання України до НАТО,мені подобається і ідея бачення Україну позаблоковою державою,але ось переспектив розвитку боєздатної армії України і зміцнення збройних сил за кошти держави -я не бачу.І мене приваблюють ті видимі зміни на краще в суспільстві наших сусідів,які вступили в блок.
