@RationalistViewpoint well i don't know how anyone person can live off min. wage, i apply all the time at best i get maybe a 20 part time job, but it's damn near impossible to get a second one. at least here in the u.s. what is the difference between public sector and private sector? like government work?
-
@RationalistViewpoint some good points you make, as far as minimum wage i've heard from some people that they want it to go up to 9.50/hour. now, i know for a fact, a bunch of people i know young and old, that the older ones, they're talking about getting a reduced pension, if not eventually none...and they're capping pay limits, so eventually the workers that have been there awhile will only make slightly more then new people. that's wrong. also when min. wage goes up, so does everything else.

@RationalistViewpoint thats a good point, if we could just at Audit the Fed, then we could get a better idea as to where our trillions of dollars went and on what. I'd love to bring back something similar to a Gold Standard but I don't know what the machinery of that would look like. I like the consumption tax idea and a flat tax of 7percent across the board of social strata;etc, pull the troops back home put them on the mexican border. set up a better grant system for the states for works.

@Polystyrene11 see now, I want to settle things by having common grounds, not what makes them different, if we can cooperate we can actually get something done, if not, we're spinning wheels, wasting time, and the country is going down the shitter in the meantime, so to go back and forth about the differences, DOES NOTHING for us American citizens and makes things far , far worse.

@pjmack79 Ralph would eat Paul for lunch. Paul is a corpratist, he wants to leave our economy, our health and enviornment at the mercy of the corporate goodwill and the 'free market'. Mr. Nader is the antithesis of the simplistic knee jerk Libtard foolishness that fool Paul spews.

Gaius Gracchus again?

@two0sixTay I'm going to go ahead and say that I know a lot more than you, kiddo. Liberal hacks are people like Donna Brazile and James Carville, who have been stridently anti-Nader for calling out their corporatist tendencies. Nader isn't actually a liberal, except in the most naive sense. He's a progressive socialist and muckraker, and I hope he carves the shit out of George W. Obama's votes in 2012. I'll be in the streets for him if he runs.

@MEpianist Dude....Nader is a liberal, extremely liberal lol....dont know much about politics do you?
-
@TheSwissRepublic Yes, Yes it is. 98+% of scientists agree its real. Watching UN-scientific vids on youtube doesnt make you a expert, in fact, its make you look pretty dumb.
I'm here to say I am a fan of both Ron Paul and Ralph Nader! Voted for Paul in the Republican primaries in 08, and voted for Nader in the general election.

@Polystyrene11 Our problems have ceased to be left/right, conservative/liberal, republican/democrat issues. Our problems are now about what HAS to be done. Nader and Paul both realize this. Youtube has a video of Paul and Nader being interviewed together and agreeing with each other on the most important issues, "Polar opposites" maybe...but they both know what needs to be done.
