Global Business Brigades - UT Austin presents,
--Panama Assessment Trip: January 2010----
This trip (the first of three), with 12 students from the University of Texas at Austin, assessed the situation of farms in Panama. In the process of this first of three trips, the students taught workshops on basic accounting, marketing, professionalism & negotiation. The UT students learned about the challenges in microenterprise development facing rural Panamanian farmers. In the end, both sides had an incredible, intercultural experience, and gained information valuable to future endeavors.
