@Azrael666Azazel In the story "Remembrance of the Daleks" There were two factions of Daleks, Renegade Daleks and Imperial Daleks.

Imperial Daleks were conditioned to obey Davros and his commands, his own army.

Renegade Daleks were the rebellion, the ones who server the Supreme Dalek and wanted Davros destroyed for his crimes against their race (e.g. experiments).
