My gold medal performance of the piano reduction of Paul Creston's Concertino for Marimba and Orchestra. I played this piece for the Tucson Philharmonia's annual Artist Spotlight Scholarship Competition. My piano accompanist is Aryo Wicaksono. Eight out of about 40+ kids made it to this final round. I was the only non-string player out of the eight (actually 5 strings and 2 piano players). Enjoy! =)
Very nice performance! You nailed all of those tricky subdivisions and, more over, it looked like you were really having fun!
