  • Nice old torches...I inherited one that looks like a DC3 from the 40's and one from the 20,s that 's like a V2 rocket. I still use an old set of lathe burners though....

  • im interested in getting into scientific blowing aswell. I'm not interested in making it my full time career.. more like a hobby. so its not something i would want to go to college for.. im already in college for other things. start with an internet search.. if that doesnt help, visit some art / glass galleries and ask some questions. if u can find some local glass artists, get in touch with them and ask more questions. lemme kno how it goes.

  • Find a university or local college that has classes for it. This is a serious career and will take years upon years to master. Make sure you really want to it and make it a lifes goal. Start out by learning as much as you can on the net just to get a little know how on procedures and processes.

  • i want to be a scientific glassblower how would one get started?

  • i love the pics of old burners. do you collect them ?
