It's a song causes a dilemma. It's the kind of song that if you heard it come on in a nightclub, such is its rythm, your instinct would be to get up and dance to it, but then if you knew the lyrics you would wonder how appropriate such a response would be. It's also the kind of song that is all too rare today, ie basolutely brilliantly. Muchos gracias to Los Lobos and to loslobosmusic for uploading it. Bueno.

It pisses me off when you say Los Lobos and people say 'La Bamba?' Too few people know about this great song.

The accordian just under the surface notes is so beautiful. 20 years later this song is still fresh. It combines CW, rock and latin riffs. It is about as American as music can be.
