I wonder if I can get my toy manufacturing guy to make a special custom set of electronics for this robot. hmmmm.... just needs to take higher voltage...

Oh... and yes. I'm using lower resolution. It takes too long to upload these at higher res! :-)

    "Chicks love test drives."

JME must be the only person it the world who can say that and sound like a genius instead of a 47-year-old virgin.

    You win dude.

I'm late to the show ----- Acetone brushed on the parts makes them quite a bit stronger. If that is ABS and it looks to be. Also, then if you take some of the dust and chips and strings and mix with the acetone to make a slurry you can put a coating inside and outside of the parts. The acetone seeps into the plastic and joins it more. But, after all this time ---- you know that. This is just for those times when the parts are not printed with an optimum orientation.... ;-)

Saw 104 acres in Nova Scotia connecting a lake to the ocean for $21,000 the other day... Very tempting!

I bet it would run a whole lot smoother if you put ball bearings on all the joints and gears. Sounds like a lot of the motors power is being wasted by all the friction.

Don't give up on it as I (and I'm sure most of the people watching your vids) would love one of these in kit form to build.
