@mandyrainlover11 I'm pretty sure there's not any beaches here in mobile, but there's some near-by. About an hour and a half drive and you end up in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach :)

Because... that is how it has been pronounced since the city's inception. It is NOT Mo-bill, as you so aptly stated. Makes no sense getting "mad" over how it is pronounced. It is what it is! "The Sunbelt's Best Deal... (Mo-bee'-uhl) Mobile!"
