Craig Bazan performs musical monologue from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street on the streets of Camden, New Jersey. This is a follow up video to Craig's first video of his monologue from Hamlet.

Craig is an 18 year old actor who graduated from Camden, NJ. The Hamlet video we shot was totally spur of the moment. Craig had so much support he wanted to continue to shoot some more monologues.

  • A song isn't a monologue, dumb ass.

  • @CWB6589 in order to get somewhere.

  • @titusact4scene2 I know its late and I just saw this. Its been years since I've done this, when I set out to do these videos, I didnt ask for pity, and I didn't ask for people to care about me because I'm a black actor. The last couple of years the work that I have received, has not been based in any way, shape or form on my race. I love theater, and I want to do it forever. View the videos and any work that you may see me do as an actor performing and not as someone trying to use race

  • @Spyder8561 you shouldn't ask stupid people for forgiveness.Plus the guy needs to tighten up his act.Praise him for being good not for being black and poor. The only thing worse than "hate" is the condescension from low expectations He isn't a little kid playing 'grownup'. He seems to be a smart MAN with a lot of guts. But he needs to move beyond that "love me cause I'm a black man trying to make it" mentality. If he's going to act ,he should strive to be the best!!!

  • wow this was amazing

  • @pluper222 ...I apologize...I thought you were making fun of him.

  • @Spyder8561 I think you misunderstood my response. There is no hate in my heart toward this young mans performance. I think he was very brave for his choice of locale. Please forgive me for coming off a bit cynical. I think he is a good performer and if you are still out there Mr. Bazan.. Bring on more videos.

  • @pluper222 ....damn, you people hate when someone is trying to do good also....You people have so much hate in you ...why?

  • This was really good.

  • Screw the accent!! this is what youtube is all about. It's so ridiculous, it's great. this young performer has balls, in Camden you say. I wonder if Sondheim ever meant it to be sung in a rundown vacant lot. I luv it.
