George Romero's Dead Series inspired games such as Resident Evil and Dead Rising. But Dead Rising is more like Dawn of the Dead. Also Left 4 Dead is a combination of 28 Days Later and the 2004 Dawn of the Dead remake.
I live in Pittsburgh PA AKA Zombie Town AKA SIXBURGH PA. I live 15 minutes from the mall that is in the film. Monroeville Mall is the place. The Zombie in the apartment scene1:20 was a teacher from my high school. Although I heard that he had passed away recently.

Madjack18, you are absolutely right! At 10 years old, I saw this very trailer (it stuck with me!) before a late night screening of the lame Love At First Bite (George Hamilton as Dracula?) at a theatre in the SF Valley. I barely remember the rest of the night, I just kept replaying this trailer in my head the whole time, haha! TOTALLY stuck with me, Dawn has become my favorite horror film ever.
This has got to be one of the best trailers ever made. It perfectly recreates the relentless terror of the actual film. The cinema audience must have been too scared to care about the main feature lol
Ironically, the scariest part of this movie was when Fran was watching tv with all of the scientists and reporters arguing and she says "It's really all over isn't it..." Sounds just like now!
