@ToxicOdiousOne Evidently you have not heard of aggravation (aggravated circumstances). Also, Courts are very rarely "used for social change", Law reflects society as it changes. The majority of society does not believe it is okay to attack someone due to race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation etc. Thus laws are passed to dissuade this from happening.

Its not societies fault that you are a closed minded bigot who is poorly attempting to intellectualize it.
