Here's my gameplay of the full version of SimCity 2000, recorded on DOSBox. This game was downloaded from http://www.freegameempire.com only for YouTube purposes.

SimCity 2000 is a friendly city-builder simulation and financial strategy computer game designed by Will Wright with development by him and his team, Maxis Software, Inc. It was published to many systems in 1993. This video shows the DOS version. (notice that unlike CuteFloor's first SimCity 2000 video, this one lets you hear the sound effects, including the voice "Articulating Splines.")

What you're doing is building basically a city using the limited amount of money your bank investors gave you, depending on your difficulty. I chose the Easy Difficulty, so I started out with 20,000 Simoleons. You are the mayor in which you contribute the money to many outside engineers who develop the city you design. Of course you can plan it out beforehand, but that's only when you have a layout of the city to be build. When you start a new city, the terrain is randomly generated. You can, though, make your own terrain, simply by clicking on "Edit New Map," either in the main menu or in the File menu during gameplay.

This video is basically the process from a big patch of land to a start-off city in which if you watch your money, it will eventually grow. It comes from laying out your first power plant to managing your budget and making changes when all the basics you need are in place.

You may notice influent movements at the end, but this is because even though CuteFloor told me that a fixed number of CPU cycles fixes the problem of the playback frame rate, when you are recording a gameplay video for more than five minutes, the frame rate of the game you're trying to record decreases.

Anyway, enjoy the video! (some of the tags are shared from CuteFloor's first gameplay video of SimCity 2000.)
