Because the mother dosen't realize that Colas its around and Lisa tell her that she saw a butterfly...and Mama Simone say "Butterfly to me ???? Yeah right ??? Anyway she its trying to save her self from being seen with Colas...I don't know if is like that in every version of La Fille Mal Gardee ,but its in this one .This was choreographed by Jose Pares and that the version they dance in the National Ballet of Cuba.

My teacher told me that this version (cuba's version) is an expanded version of Nijinska's choreography created for Ballet Theatre. Maybe someone knows more. Beautiful dancing by the way. Bravo Adiarys and Joseph.
