Perspective is a fundamental. All art schools teach that. If someone can't learn 2 point perspective, maybe they were goofing off in class? Wow, if they can't learn 2 point, then they won't ever learn 3 point, high and low. Never ignore the fundamentals, they are the basis for everything.
