The effects of the Mexican Revolution, which raged from 1910 until 1920, spilled over into the United States in January 1914 at the Battle of Ojinaga. At that time, Pancho Villa forced the Mexican Federal Army to cross the Rio Grande and surrender to U.S. troops.
Francisco Villa and The Battle of Ojinaga traveling exhibit is now on loan to the Institute de la Chihuahuense, Chihuahua, Mexico.
