Without packed dirt fill it could be easilly detected. Digging it up is not a problem. Also need a measured distance and azimuth from a recognizable and non movable object in case you need to send someone for it or need memory help (says the grey haired prepper).

what i do with mine is mark them with a cross made of sticks or ehat ever is around because they assume its a grave of a human or animal and they dont want to disturb it.
