I wanted her to dump Robin Hood and go out with Guy, there was no competition between the two for me!!! This is so moving and I like the way Aled Jones sings it.

With a name like 'fatbaldcunt' I'm not sure you're necessarily in a position to start making comments about people singing.
I am a trained singer and greatly envy the tone and perfection with which Aled Jones sings. He sings effortlessly and his diction and technique are always flawless. He has a truly gorgeous light tenor voice...he is practically the epitome of a light tenor voice in fact (along maybe with Andrea Bocelli).

Soul rending melody for an unrequited love. Charming.

@Paddiemae You might have been listening to him as a boy soprano. He recorded two versions of this.

Truly, one of the finest Tenors I have ever heard! What might the arts look like if more performances in the West were given in the English language. Accessibility, it would seem, is everything!

what a pretty video

Too bad girls don't seem to appreciate this kind of treatment nowadays.

Guy is a motorcyclist, right?

I'm singing this song for my grade 5 singing exam !!! :) i love it!

Yes, the song is from the first act of Handels' Tolomeo, but it's called "Non lo diró col labbro". "Stille amare" is another very fine aria from Tolomeo.

A wonderful magical piece by the Greatest composer whoever lived and I'm sure that there are many pieces by handel that deserve much more popularity than they have now even if by changing the lyrics.
I enjoyed this very much indeed.
The song is actually entitled "Silent Worship". I first heard it sung by the Scottish tenor Kenneth McKellar.

I didn't know it was called that! I loved this song since I first heard it on the film Emma. Glad you enjoyed it :)
