This is a scene of us getting the banya ready. The banya is the bathing system that Alaskan people in that region use. It's like a steam room, sweat, sauna and shower all in one.
It is a small wooden building with a woodstove inside that heats up water. There is another large barrel of water that remains cold. You mix the two temperature waters together to create your perfect temperature, which you then pour over yourself using little scoopers or wash bins. This is how we bathed when we were in Alaska.

you forgot to mention the rocks around the stove, once the stove is hot the heat radiates into the rocks, most banya rocks are taken from the rivers or creeks after years of erosion to ensure the pureness of the rock. and you also failed to mention the steam one receives when the rocks are splashed. I just happened to have lived for 8 years in a village on Kodiak Island, and prefer to bath in a banya when one is available, the health advantages are well documented.
