HIV/Aids: On the eve of the World Aids Day, free HIV testing centres around Nairobi reported impressive turn-outs as Kenyans took time to check their status.
Still living in the 18th century, are we? Wanaleta kutoka wapi - grow up and recognize that HIV does not discriminate between the sexes. The report states that it's a behavorial problem. This kind of ignorance is the reason why the disease has been rampant in Africa.
Google "Majengo Nairobi HIV". I think that is what you mean. It is a group of women who are resistant to the virus despite being repeatedly exposed to it and some scientists say that they hold the key to THE vaccine.
I only hope there is pre & post test counselling...10 minutes really isn't enough for such a, would be, life changing result...ama ni pilka-pilka za world aids day
I like what am watching, i am happy some NGOs and the government are joining hands and creating an awareness to such issues that affect out societies.
I'm not sure if this is true..... I heard there is a village in Africa, were woman have the virus but it does not hurt them. Heard this from my biology instructor. I'm not trying to be rude ect.
