The Face Plant is a classic 2 germanium tranistor fuzz that is tuned with grit and attitude in mind. Rolling the guitar volume Down really gives it a nice overdrive sound with the right amount of sparkle. Crank your guitar all the way up for some fat and heavy distortion fuzz! • Only battery powered? Who would buy a 200 pedal if its going to die after every gig or band practice? Don't get me wrong it sounds amazing, but that is a series flaw not being able to use a battery adapter.

  • @okamasphere He makes reproduction circuits very true to the originals, including the battery-only operation. A good 9V battery can last for several months in a pedal like this as long as you unplug your input jack on the pedal. Also, most power supply units like the DC Brick include a 9V battery clip attachment to connect inside the pedal in place of a battery.

  • whats the song from 00:04 to 00:20

  • @dragnrider9 - the whole intro part is excerpts from "Jimmy the Exploder" off the White Stripes first album.

  • This Skinpimp stuff is really sweet! The guitar playing seems to get better and better every video, too! I really love these demos, guys! Please keep doing them until I am dead?! :)

  • @shango02005 - We will do our best to keep going as long as possible! Thank you!

  • i have to kinda agree with okamasphere, for these prices they should be more user friendly, BTW i switched over to a visual sound one spot to get away from dealing with all the batterie BS, and it's worked out ok so far

  • @okamasphere Because old transistors had reverse polarity. Not the builders fault.

  • nice, im wanting another ge fuzz face, and this one really intrigues me, but im wondering if it can clean up all the way to clean, or just gritty?

  • awesome
