I love it, but It is so hard to get it in Europe.

Sure, I could order it from amazon or ebay, but the customs and shipping are half of the tripod+ballhead price... Amazon Germany barely has any Vanguard products, I couldn't find a 264at yet, only the 263at. The only ballhead I could find was the SBH-30.

I like your products much better, but Manfrotto or Giottos are so easier to get here... You don't even have a german site online yet, only a french one :(

I've got a nice brand new broken one I'll give you. It won't do you any more good then it does me but it might be a great boat anchor or scarecrow holder. It only cast me $139 to know better then to buy anything else from this company. Screw broke off putting the ball head on Trust me this thing is a big steaming POS and I plan to let everyone know what a POS it truly is.

@hutdockz I can see how they look similar on line but having used them both, the vanguard is definitely not a rebrand or a derivation and I actually like some features on the vanguard even though it's a lot less expensive then the gitzo.

After using other popular brands (Slik & Manfrotto) I looked into this tripod for 2 months before looking for a company or seller in Canada to purchase from. I ended up finding one on eBay along with the SBH-250 ballhead and I could not be happier! I shoot primarily landscapes and macro and wanted a great tripod that could A) get low to the ground and B) have the capability of a mutli-angled column for creativity. This tripod delivers! My first Vanguard purchase and I am impressed!
