How do you delete letter's when they're on something(not white), because I'm a noob on Ps and I really want to translate manga to my native langugae :)

Wow that is really impressive. I am hoping to one day learn how to do this kind of work. I have a ridiculous amount of free time so hopefully if i learn then i can contribute. Thanks for the hard work.
