  • @7169136 It actually is, it's not like the one in the movie at all but Stephen King was inspired by it when he wrote the book. As alot would guess the movie made it more interesting (Larger) But Red Rose is a supposedly haunted Mini Mansion.

It is no doubt a large building but the movies is quite a bit bigger.

  • @dark2spirits Actually it is and it's not. Some of the storylines (the endless house additions and crazy rooms) are based on the Winchester Mansion which is real, and the actual house you see in the film is a bed and breakfast called Thornewood Castle in Lakewood, Washington. It's not as big as in the movie, and the additions are computer generated. As for there being a real "Rose Red" haunted house, the answer is no.

  • @dark2spirits Yeah, but stephen king let an other writer, wrote the diary of ellen rimbauer, and that's a scary idea I think, cause as i searched somthing about rose red I found this diary and with a small part of fantasy it is easy to think the everithing could be real

  • @dark2spirits Rose Red's facade is an actual catlse in Tacoma, Washington. The story of RR is base off of The Winchester Mystery House/Mansion. There was a women, whose husband invented the Winchester Rifle. Many native Americans were killed by this gun. When her child and husband died she was afraid she'd die to. A Native fortune teller told her to go California and build a house for the spirits killed by the guns and to continuously build and extend the house. If she dis so she'd live longer

  • @tailscat8 CERTAINLY RIGHT!! :)

  • could you get all the songs from rose red?

  • This is great! I thought it didn't exist. You're awesome!
