Dante is Intentionally cheesy like Spiderman, They tell extremely bad jokes to piss off their enemies.

i think it wa prettysmooth of Ninja Theory to mix Christian and Judahism with Japanese folk lore.The angel and demon touch added some depth. The next game might involve klling them. i like the story. sure they made Vergil not as hardcore, but for spolers sake, he's going to probably playable in future installmets or a mini-boss, unless Capcom milk's money with DLCs to be playable. They hinted at a Vergil DLC, beccause how did he know a tazer is better in Limbo.Vergil was testing Dante a lot too.

You're right. None of the games had exceptional storylines, but for me, it's easy to pick the reboot as the better one of them all for its coherency and better acting. It's also hard for me to bash it for its predictability considering that it was written around concepts that were previously explored, but was still necessary to keep them.

Please, man, don't give me that "it's a hack-n-slash... it doesn't need..." If you're trying for 4 games to have a story, better have it make sense at least.

I also like how Ninja Theory handled the characters, nicely exploring the underlying meaning of their interactions, which was not the case of the previous franchise. They have also a lot more evolution possibilities here.

And I don't know for you, but I find this Vergil's far more interesting than its previous iteration. He acts a lot like "V" in "V for Vendetta". Also, did someone noticed the V in the car's panel in mission 15 ( the trade ) ?
