Bright guy that screen and play writer Axelrod.

@soulierinvestments Wow, you were born one week before me! All this time I've watched your clips and read your WML comments, I never dreamed we would be so close in age. Are the other segments of this program available on YouTube? I'd love to see the wigmaker segment.

Charles Atlas was 64 here.

@moriya2k2 Ah, I thought you meant in general... At least they didn't flat out say no, haha.
-
@rocknroll015 I'm talking about the "Can women take advantage of services?" question. Like the idea of a woman bodybuilder just scared the hell out of them.
-
@moriya2k2 Don't get how that's sexist. They had to clarify how to answer certain questions, they also consulted over one of the men's questions as well... and do all the time on the show.

Charles Atlas, what a striking man. Perfect features, perfect build for a body builder. He was the grand-daddy of them all when it came to building muscles and physique.
He was born in Italy, just found that out.

they might have guess bodybuilder if he hadn't said no when they asked if he used implements
but it was technically right since he used his dynamic tension method, and had only lifted weights in the past.

I love how they had to consult each other on the women question. Good ole sexist 50's.
Charles Atlas was the real deal. He lived a clean lifestyle, was a devout Christian, and loyal family man who shunned the limelight. Many athletes used his program, including Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano. The concepts of his program still apply today.

Axelrod got it right away. I think Mr. Daly threw him a curve in order to prolong the game.
