@stevegodjas That 45 second clip was replaced by footage shot in California..Gracie Mansion,after one of its Afghan rugs got singed by an ember caused by the Yulec Log Fire (The Flue was blocked,so they were given only 46 seconds,no less! ..it was a $1,000 rug! So,they were permantly banned from the mansion! TRUE STORY!

I Just Love This Yule Log, It's calming, soothing, and beautiful, I also love the christmas music too. it still makes me want to get into my warm pj's, get a pillow, a warm blanket, put the pillow on the couch, lay down on the couch, with my heard on the pillow, cover myself up with the warm blanket, and just watch that fire, until i fall asleep.

@jsemancik1, I have to agree with you, Because I just love the wpix yule log, and I also love hearing the music, it's so soothing, warm, relaxing, and wonderful, It makes me want to get into my warm pj's, get a pillow, and a warm blanket, put the pillow on the couch, lay my heard on the pillow on the couch, cover myself up with the warm blanket, and see our christmas tree, and watch the fire until i fall asleep.

When cable came to my town in Massachusetts and we were able to watch WPIX and WOR-TV, the world expanded...Life of Riley, with Jackie Gleason, NY sports and so much more...but on Christmas came the real treat, the WPIX yule log...so many happy memories of my parents and brothers and friends and my wife and all the rest of the world....bound in by snow and loving it!

I Just Luv The Yule Log, I Watch This Every Christmas Morning, It's So Warm, and Soothing, Even The Christmas Music Is Soothing Too, It Makes Me Want To Get A Pillow, a warm blanket, put the pillow on the couch, lay down on the couch, and put the warm blanket over me, and just watch this, until i fall alseep.

When I moved out of NJ I missed the yule log. A friend of mine taped it for me and mailed me a copy. Now I'm in NY and the yule log is on tv again. Reminds me of when I was a kid. I have it on while making cookies, always brings back some Christmas spirit.
