Founded in 1925, Gannon University offers an integrative, educational experience that cultivates the intellect, ensures global awareness and appreciation, develops compassion for the human condition, and recognizes the universality in Catholicism that respects all faith traditions.

Academic Programs: Three Colleges offering Associate, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degrees in over 80 programs and disciplines. Some of the majors include engineering, business, marketing, international business, management information systems, education, biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, chemistry, the health sciences, computer science, communications, and international studies, among others.

International Support: The International Student Office (ISO) provides ongoing services from airport transfers for new students to advisement on immigration, cultural adjustment, and opportunities, both educational and recreational. These services complement the academic advisement and support that is offered in each academic department. International awards are offered to all accepted, international students.

Special Services: Leadership Development, Service Learning, Carneval Athletic Pavilion including fitness center, swimming pool, and saunas, Career Center, over 70 clubs and organizations, intramural athletics, Honors Program, study abroad, academic support and tutoring, internships and cooperative education.

Location: Erie, Pennsylvania, a vibrant and safe city with an international airport and the only Great-Lakes port in Pennsylvania. Close to Canada, Ohio and the state of New York, Erie is regionally connected to the Northeast. A very low cost of living supports a quality of life that is defined by beautiful sunsets, fresh-water sports, sandy beaches, snow sports and skiing, and the many cultural and recreational opportunities that come with an urban setting.
