lewi longmire and James Whiton @ The Laurelthirst Public House 9 16 09

Lewi Longmire, James Whiton, & Sean O'Brien a.k.a. Apricot Jam, played the Laurelthirst 9-13-09. James, bass virtuoso, whose credits include the Eric McFadden Trio, played a stand up bass, similar to Rob Wasserman. He combines percussive, slap, finger playing and eerie bow techniques with delay loops. Sean O'Brien adds tasty vocals and a funky guitar and Lewi is slinging his "acoustic". Lewi referred to this 1st gig in a number of years as "practice." This one's a treat, sorry about the end, really.
