This is the B-Side of their hit song, a cover of "House Of The Rising Sun" from 1970, on the original Parrot records 45.

  • Been looking for this song for years. Used to play it on a greasy sppon juke box. All I could remember was a few of the lyrics. My forty year search is now over. Thanks!

  • grabbed this for 50 cents today at the Flea market. Best find of the day

  • @Playback007able Sorry I didn't see this today, but we shared a bill at the UDetroit Cafe about a month or so back. Rick Stevers has some people he's playing with again and he's looking to get the group (under the name Frijid Pink) out in detroit and on the road soon.

I also hear that another member (forgot which one) is playing the New Way bar in Ferndale on the 14th with his band.

  • @jakeEshades Please explain more about FP being back.? How about a link to somewhere that gives the show's particulars?

  • I'm so excited, I get to play with these guys here in Detroit. They're amazing, and they're back!!!

  • Mutha Fukkin Mutha fukkahs!!

  • Got this on a 45rpm vinyl :)

  • @bucky468 I checked.... Theres some wierd German double release but the songs are slightly sped up, and puts them out of tune....

Your right about Ray's solo albums, I think there was one with Robby and Ray called "Butts Band" thats on CD...

  • @RayManzarekGod I think Best Buy might have those Doors albums but I'm not sure. Also check out Barnes & Noble online. They now sell used & new CD's both.

NONE of Ray Manzarek's solo albums have even made it to CD that I know of. Ditto w/Ray's mid 70's Nite City which was somewhat unsuccessful.

  • @bucky468 Niceeeee..... I've been hoping for "Full Circle" and "Other Voices" By The Doors (2 albums AFTER Jim Morrison died), but no luck. They have a TON of live Doors on there though.
