This superb young band features their leader, brilliant young clarinet and sax player James Evans whilst on piano is Tom Kincaid, on guitar (several!)/banjo is Martin Wheatley and on bass and vocals Jim Ydstie. This was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on May 27th. They are playing "Who's sorry now" with James' inimitable vocal.

James Evans is probably the most innovative, technically accomplished clarinettist playing in Britain today. He also has an idiosyncratic sense of humor. Listen very carefully to his soloing here and you will find that it is quite unique... a real buzz. Check out his work on the new Byzantines' CD, "Mister Exstein's X-Ray Eyes."
