Recently received a Gen3 TV-B-Gone key-chain.

We went out on the town in Tempe Arizona to test it out.

It works!

I am expecting the Pro Super High Power in the mail in March. Good times.

  • You should try this at a pub packed with people watching a football or soccer game =D

  • That would be the end of my life XD

  • Way to be discreet. You might as well just walk up and turn them off by hand.

  • Check out my other video, I turn them all off by hand.

  • I want one of these so bad. Is it worth me getting the Pro Super High Power instead of the regular one? great vid btw

  • Thanks! Keychain or SHP? Depends on what you want. The Keychain is really small and unsuspecting, it can turn off a tv at a good range, I would say 50 feet(depending on where you are and the type of tv)for $20.

The SHP, on the other hand, is only $40. It has 6 bulbs instead of 1, and claims to have a range of 100 meters. I will post a vid letting everyone know more details about it once I get it.

  • these things are great!!!! I went to walmart with mine and had so much fun and was even able to sneak in a camera to get some of the action

  • lol at 1:05

  • me too!

  • i gona buy one tommorow

  • i love dooing it to kids with guitar hero

  • Those of you who really want one should look it up and learn how to build one (google Ladyada and check out the forums), you'd be surprised that its not as hard as it sounds. Its a fairly simple project but a great way to get your feet wet with micro controllers and learning how to solder. Depending on how resourceful you are, you can piece together a EHP (like the SHP but w/ 8 IR LED's) for under $15. I've built several of these now and if I get around to it, I'll try to put up a video.

  • ...=)

  • Nice video. lol Im gonna get one and use it in a best buy. Or in gamestop when kids are playing the games. lol

  • HAHAHA! Well said!
