  • He wasn't able to tell the story he wanted? So cramming the screen with CGI shit was the great improvement in the story that he so desperately sought after? The man makes me sick.

  • No one wants to read your multiple post manifesto and no one cares what you think you dumb trolls.

Get over it, and enjoy the movies. If you hate them go ahead and tell Lucas so, he will be laughing at you from his big pile of money.

  • I can live with the added CGI used to improve SOME of the effects (E.g. Lightsabers, Death Star Explosion, etc). What annoys me is when the changes ruin the story of the movies.

Take the added Jabba scene in 'A New Hope'. First off, it's a pointless scene that ruins the pacing, but also Jabba's character is nothing like he was in ROTJ, instead he's a complete push-over.

Then their's the terrible musical number in Jabba's Palace and now Vader screaming 'No' making ROTJ a complete joke.

  • he seems delusional.. just watch the red letter media stuff. the market is a huge scam. probably bigger than we realize

  • Lucas is a perfectionist, it's that simple. If his opinions don't gel with you, there is an option on the DVD to watch the original theatrical release (at least, I have that option on mine).

  • "I got bored and did everything on CGI" : 3 seconds.

  • Only George Lucas, could look at one of the most beloved movies ever made, and say, "It's not as good as I wanted it to be" If the movie wasn't a hit with fans or critics, and if it tanked at the box office, I could see why he'd be upset.

  • @byerein Honestly who cares if he has a big pile of money? What does that have to do with anything?

  • @bierbuik

    LolOloL You can't tr0ll right.

  • @byerein Omg... I hate people like you who approach every subject from a money point of view... You're the scum of the earth!

  • So George Lucas says in this video that the 2004 DVD Versions of The Star Wars Trilogy were the final versions of the films, the changes made to that release were the final changes. But then he goes and makes more changes to the films for the Blu-Ray Versions.

I didn't but the Blu-Ray set because I am tired of all the changes made to the trilogy. I am going to wait for a better release of The Star Wars Films on Blu-Ray. Hopefully with the Original Versions restored in HD.

  • this video proves it, if you're an idiot, do the opposite than what you think is right
