  • LOVE Gugu so beautiful.

  • Better get used to it, people in general come in all shapes, accents, colors, what-have-you ... and Black people no less. I can't wait to see this show! I loved Gugu in Doctor Who and Boris in Soul Food. If Spock & Uhura could be an item in Star Trek, I have no doubt that with J.J. Abrams at the helm "Undercovers" will soar into the stratosphere!

  • @sweetpyramidgirl Side note to you: I'm of mixed race and I've had to put up with a lot of ignorance from folks like you in my few years of life just like every other race put on this planet. I've been asked the "What nationality are you?" question first before being asked for my name. And pass-blacks? Are you joking? You do realize a person can be mixed and not have one bit of black blood in them, right? Whatever. Every race suffers ignorance, and have some people who think they're superior.

  • The bottom line is that this show should've been given a chance. If they decide to release the first season DVD of Undercovers you can bet your ass I'll be at the store ASAP to purchase it.

  • Who cares about race? This shouldn't have been about race to begin with, this world focuses too much on the unimportant bullshit. In my personal belief, this show had promise. Yes, the leads were of color. We can all clearly see that, no use in getting worked up over it. But don't forget the CAST was a mixed cast. I highly doubt Carter Macintyre signed on thinking, "My god, I'm cast in a BLACK tv show!" Hell no he was probably thinking "Yes, I have a job! I hope this show becomes something."

  • @lds2610 but those aren't black people.

  • @sduriza she basically is a zulu girl. Most people on earth actually carry their father's last name. I could never understand why people secretly wish she had a typical anglo saxon name , because she is a very pretty girl.

I am thinking of the other CSI doctor Megalyn Echikunwoke who is also bi-racial and too pretty for her own good. she said she decided to keep her typical nigerian name because she likes it very much.

  • there r black people who are not mixed-race but look mixed race or better looking than mixed race. I think people fuss too much about mixed race. Ever since I was young, people keep saying mulatto or mixed-race as it was some kind of gold race and this makes mixed race people very arrogant cause they go around walking as if they were better than anyone else. Mixed race people are pass-blacks who get it easier than regular blacks. They are favorised in society and have it easier than blacks./.

  • i could swear Gugu Mbatha is south african.

  • @SevenFootPelican Good eye man.

  • @lds2610 I don't you know what america is really like. Your generalizing and saying america is filled with a bunch racist people? Your saying that's why this show was canceled? This show was canceled because the raitings weren't what the network was expecting this far into the season.

  • @lds2610 None black people? Explain that please.
