The videos I have up currently are more of a guide for people who know what they want to do but don't know where or what it is. I wouldn't have a problem showing how to's, but the problem I have with those is that people don't learn how to troubleshoot the problem, only copy what they see.

i started to learn how to model with blender and its wiki book "Blender 3D:Noob to pro". First thing to learn was using the different views and tools to move around your model. Second was basic modifiers like extrude,move,scale rotate,subdivide,merge. You don't have to go much in detail about every modifier.The best way to teach so. these tools is to create an easy model with him. I'm still a noob but i know well how to learn sth.

If you are using the default XSI Key map it's ctrl+"D" on a US keyboard, not sure if how things change using different keyboards.
