You must not have been there long enough to remember but I grew up in the Manor/Albany Park and there were "latinos" there since the late 60's and very few if any blacks. Other than the Ravenswood Manor or Gardens where I lived. Albany Park was rough in the 70's and 80's where is saw its low point. Once again, it was the areas outside the Manor that the residents were typical working class "whites" that were not exactly speaking the kings English. Now the area has improved with gentrification.

I used to live in Abany Park during the 70's and 80's. It went to shit once blacks and latino's moved in and turned it into a ghetto. How sad
